How are you today?
I broke my rib by belly flopping of an 8-10ft easy bit of track when on another bike ride on Monday. People are now telling me to give up mountain biking... I think I just need some pads and a little more practice! That said; we all fell off on Monday which I’m attributing to the wet conditions. Paul even fell down a rock about 15ft high. It was good that nobody was seriously hurt though. I think I’ll give it a week or 2 off to heal and then buy some pads and have another go! Yes, that's right... I'm sure I can beat that 3 minute record of getting down there! :S
Anyway, it's enrolment in the morning so I’m going to keep this one short and sweet - Jen and Dale are beating me on
therockstargame and I’m not happy about it so I will have to sulk for a while about that when I get a spare moment.
I'm also on my way up to Aberystwyth Friday morning to help Sarah move her stuff back to Cardiff and not only am I looking forward to seeing her, but I also quite like the drive up with the radio loud and obviously the bag of driving sweets that everyone needs on a longer than normal trip.
I have a new phone - it's lovely, it's a nokia 6680 and I’ve already used it to send some video's and took a picture of myself in the bath so that was fun :) But now I need someone else to get a 3G phone so we can have some video conversations like they do on Star Trek.
What else have I done? I rack my brain pondering and then remember - I've been to work, nuff said - I wont bore you with the details of a day in Sainsbury's I'll simply say I sold bread, milk and some pancakes with chocolate in which I want to try.
Right, that's it from me for this silly little attempt at a post; I'm sure Rammstein just told me to get to bed and then called me a vile name. However, I can't be sure of course; it's all in blooming German!
Remember. Skids are for Kids.

Hello again blog,
Well I haven't done a lot since the last post but I’m still trying to be a better blogger and so here I am again. Although, once again, it's the night before a bike ride and I’m still not in bed early and I have to ask you why it is that my body seems to do this to me?!
Anyway, I spent the evening with Ben (whose full name goes into any song) and Fiancé. It was pretty cool to catch up with him and I have to admit that he's done very well for him self.
Anyway, not a lot else to say other than a huge WOOO HOOOO for Alonso winning the Formula One World Championship!
Oh, and did I tell you that I read a book and I’m on my second? No, well it's true. They are not the manliest books in the world but so what? they are filth and if that's what my eyes like to read then stfu to the rest of you.
Night all.

2 video's for you:
1. Its only funny cos Dean is better than us on a mountain bike:
Dean Falling Off2. Its only funny if you turn up your speakers and listen to the first landing:
Dean Lands Heavy

Oh yeah, and the crystal maze was awesome.
Would like to get a big group and go down there at some point - it's just it’s a shame it's so far away!
AND we had a poker night last night. I would love to organise a game where everyone pays £5 and winner/top 3 take the winnings.
Chuck cleared up last night and the game is tense even with just chips but poker is really about gambling and a fiver is cheaper than most nights out. With about 10 players we could have 2 groups of 5, a pot of £50 and a long enjoyable night of poker.
Just a thought.

Hello again…
So what wasn’t mentioned in the last post?
Well I went up to see Sarah in Aberystwyth and have to say that her halls are pretty bad - good job she's only there for another week, I know she's be glad to be local again and I know that we'll all be glad to have her back too.
Jen's birthday bash went well despite the panic we had to endure to organise the whip-round for a 21st card and present. The Pridee brothers were both MONSTORS with the ladies and although I’m sure all the girls saw them as a poor substitute for the fat lad, big pridee ended up trying to eat one of their tongues!
What else I hear you ponder? Well ponder not. The only other thing going on is a house-wide campaign to stop swearing with a board for ticking when you become a filthy mouthed little beggar. The best part however is the new insults we're all using. I don't think I’d ever heard Joe call anyone a
pleb or a
moron before. How lovely!
We've got mice!
Yes, we are currently slaughtering the little sh... er...
plebs and quite frankly it's brilliant.
Hello blog, it's been about a month since my last confession...
Well I promised all the posts about what had happened were coming up and what did I do about it? NOTHING! And now it is all so long ago that I’m going to just have to summarise and try and be a good blogger from now on..
So here goes.
Sarah's BirthdayWhat an excellent night out. There was plenty of dancing and Riv got over excited with each and every one of the people there. I think the pictures (see the gallery) say a lot about what happened but what sticks in my mind?
Well, Becci getting off with some random guy - nice. The girl that stole my hat at the end of the night and put it down her pants (it's say knickers if she was at all feminine but she was actually a hideous old wretch and I hope she chokes on something non-pleasurable to anyone!). She then told me if I wanted them back I had to get on my knees. 1. I wasn't getting on my knees for some trollop just cos she stole my hat and 2. This skank can keep that hat, it's not worth gaining crabs - there was no way I wanted to get it back myself - Greg warned me I might get my hand bitten off if I’d attempted to anyway!
Greg's BirthdayA more civilised affair than Sarah's drinking/dancing birthday however just as pleasant in a different way. A meal at the local carvery is always a winner with the 'biscuit' and this was to be no exception. As it was also his... no... As it was also a memorable birthday, there was a whip-round (mainly thanks to Jen) and a few presents were given to which we demanded a speech! Thoroughly pleasant… Was a good night.
PaintballingWhat brilliant fun however far too expensive really. The highlight for me was the one on one with Leighton at the end and I am thankful he ran out of paintballs first cos I enjoyed the last few shots on my unarmed victim opponent. If only it was cheaper, I’d love to go again!
Drum Shops??What was I thinking with that one?! There is no story there. I spent a couple of days looking at drums in drum shops before buying my new kit and played a Roland TD-12 kit while I pondered - not the best of things to log on here, however, I am sure it meant something to me at the time. Sheesh - what lame part of the blog.
Bike RideOh no, I've done it again. I have been on many bike rides since this and therefore can't remember what was significant about this one so instead I’ll just mention some of the things I remember about recent bike rides.
The rear suspension of my bike broke on one of the more recent rides and I had to wheel down the road having ridden most of the way up! On the same ride Owain buckled his rear wheel so also had to wheel down carefully after truing his wheel with the underside of our feet! Dean has fallen off a couple of times although not in any spectacular fashion, it still makes us all chuckle cos he's the best one out of us on a bike. That said, Ant and Tim recently joined us on a ride and Tim is better again than that – It would be good to have them come along again.
Dean has a new bike - It is lovely.
Roast Dinner in the HouseI'm sure this was lovely, except the mash. Well, I liked the mash. Nuff Said.
