So last night was the big karting do type thing and I think that everybody enjoyed themselves.

I'm a little disappointed in the amount of people that let us down last minute and I am left £15 out of pocket. Warren of course offered to pay his £15 deposit but he let me know well in advance really and having received a £90 speeding ticket, I really don't want it off him. Who do I want it off then? Well, in all honesty I don't really know - All I have down on the paper is 'Dale's Mate'; someone I don't know. I think that considering this person was coming at 2:30 in the afternoon of the day they should pay the £15 I am currently down but then again, i'll probably never see that money. The Karts were also a bit uneven and unreliable so maybe next time we'll try another venue/company.

On the plus side - everyone who came seemed to enjoy themselves and that's what it's all about. Everybody was willing to give the extra £1.50 (hence I'm only £15 out rather than the £47 it was looking like earlier in the night)

Thanks to all for coming, we will see you at the meals, poker night, paintballing or whatever we do next.

It's been planned for some time now which means the excitement has been building in my head.

Had a great game of football yesterday and I think that the changes we made may have helped, we'll see how it goes from here with another trial next week!

But for now, I leave work to go see Sarah who departs for Bristol tonight to spend some time with her sister, Louise.

Ok, spoilt brat... no, it's just been longer than I thought it would and now I want it. That said, the Evans torque key is brilliant, and my drums sound nicer already.

Need to sort out travelling to karting tonight and want to watch Scarface too

The exercise is going well, another full cycle last night including the 100 sit-ups (man they are hard when your a fat bloater!) but at least I haven't stopped since the 1st January 2005, yes, for 4 years I gave up but now I am once again addicted to getting fit (this doesn't mean I will neglect my drums) but I don't really have the time to do all the things I want to do; drums, getting fit, rebuilding this pitiful web site, learning several languages both technical and lingual and of course Sarah.

I am just about to leave for the day but this will be the last time I’m here till gone 5 for a week as I will be in here 8:00-16:30 for the next week, I’m excited about the early finish, but... err.. less excited about the early start!

Anyway, i am off home now after another boring day sorting out cd's. at least tomorrow is "Pizza Day" and I can binge out for just under an hour before sitting at my desk bloated working.

Pugh's birthday bowling and quazar was brilliant and I’m so grateful that I was there to celebrate it with him. Surrounded by good friends doing a fun activity is generally what makes me tick even if of late, I’m too knackered to do things and feel like I can't be bothered with much at all.

I'm getting more regular with my posting as I’ve been promising myself for ages although as usual, I’m not sure how long this spurt will last.

So right now I am sitting here installing service pack 2 on the KMA’s computer and for some reason. I’m feeling pretty cheesed off. Not cheesed off with the computer, KMA or anyone else for that matter; just frustrated in general.

In fact, I’m frustrated by the fact there is someone I work with who pisses me off immensely and there is nothing I can do about it at the moment. Why the fuck do people think its ok, acceptable and worst of all, a good idea to spread lies about someone else and drag your name through the shit in the process. What’s more, I hear there is talk of getting people’s heads kicked in for making them look stupid when they were caught out. Here’s a top tip for not getting caught out lying and spreading rumors; don’t fucking do it you stupid little moron! And for the record, I don’t think I’ve ever had my head kicked in so bring it on, it’ll probably do me some good. But that said, I will not retaliate and hit you back, but I will post massive turds through your letter box and yes, I go regular so it’s kinda like a subscription deal!

Right, that’s it, rant over – it’s been a long time since I was that angry, but it’s good to get it out and now, once again the calm of my mind has returned… lovely :)

Today I’ve been so busy, and it's only just seeming to calm down.

Well i'm a bit disappointed with things/people at the moment. The people of our world always seems to be trying to get one over on you, lying/bending the truth to make themselves look as good as they can and you look like the bad guy. Now I love the competition, i just don't like the underhand tactics.

I now feel so tired due to not sleeping properly in 2 weeks, a trait i share with my brother who while we're on the subject makes me cheesed off every time i write a blog post. Since reading his site for months and months, i now feel i should be more open and honest on here but in truth I’m scared, don't want to share my feelings and don't have the time to keep the posting as regular as I’d like.

Tonight I’m gonna go eat a home made curry (i think I’ll help make it too) and sit down and watch any old rubbish on TV, likely to be Sarah's choice. Although I would much rather watch one of the 14billion movies that are regarded as classics which I have not seen or been a part of.

In fact, it's time now to go and start my evening with a trip to the garage to get some mats for my car.

I've just joined a drum forum to help me discuss and learn about my instrument of choice. I also spent my lunch hour with Craig talking about drumming and drums in general and although i've never seen him play, his laptop drumming was impressive and i would love to see him on a proper kit.

Speaking of which, I'm disappointed with the quality of my kit and although i keep replacing little bits it will take me a long time to get the kit i want. In fact, it's going to take me a long time to even know what kit i want.

I've spent a lot of money on it recently, buying a cowbell stand (for the bell i got for Xmas), Sticks, a metronome, cymbols, skins etc. I'm running out of money and don't even have the skill to match my excitement.

Oh yeah, i'm a bit behind on everything and i've waisted all my time rambling on about my silly hobby so here is a late Happy New Year to all.
