So it's Christmas Eve and i'm in work, blogging to you lot. Why dont i ever blogg? Why don't i tell you what i'm doing and what's going on in my life and would you care if i did?
I fear that it would not make any impact on your life, day or even tea break in work where you get the chance to read people's pages. But do i really care? No, i will tell you what i do with my life anyway, consider this post, a catch up post.
Today:
I was going to be getting drunk and heading to midnight mass with Greg, Paul and others however, i don't think i will now. I haven't wrapped my presents nor have i been sleeping recently. Will probably end up staying in, wrapping said presents and taking it easy. This is no-reflection of how funny it would have been singing carols in a drunken state, or the company - both would have been great. In fact, i think i will send Greg a text now to give him the bad news. Sorry Greg.
Yesterday:
In work i had some fun with Mike in the front hub room.. I know what you're thinking, but you'd be wrong - we were fully clothed and just playing with an old server in which Mike jammed his finger, it was concerning for a second but then a wave of sod it, start laughing kicked in. First time i've ad a proper look at the guts of a server and it was cool. After work? Thursday night football obviously. Every Thursday, same time and same place. Was a good game although my team lost 15-8 well done to Dale's team. I have also realised however that my competitive side is coming out a bit too much and i am now taking it too seriously. I think this may be due to the scoring every game and the stats being upped to Dale's site. This is not a problem with the scoring and stats, it is my issue and from now on i will take it less seriously - no team tactics, positions and no shouting out what we want to do. I'm just gonna go play, have fun and moan less about it all after all, its only intended as a laugh. I do realise however that it will get me down each week losing but then, it's not really important.
Wednesday:
Got home from work, Paul was already there and we waited for Dean and Greg. Upon their arrival, we headed for Asda in, err... somewhere and got all the stuff for a nice house meal.
- A Cooked Chicken (didn't cook our own as it was already late)
- Pork Steaks
- Carrots (and lots of them)
- Peas
- Roast Potatos
- Mashed Potato
- Roast Parsnips (although i didn't have any)
- Broccoli
- Colliflower
- Yorkshire Pudding
- Stuffing
- Gravy
Once we arrived home, we had a few beers, cooked all the food as a team electing Dean as head chef. After stuffing our faces (Greg being the fattest, eat the lot but not even he attempted the Cheesecake!), we watched LA Confidential (which was one of the films on my list of films discussed in work on Tuesday (section of the site coming)
Tuesday:
Last ever swimming with Ant. Not sure if i'm going to take up another day or wait til i finish my placement as i know i could use the extra evening at the moment!
Before That?
I can't remember.
