Well, there is so much to write that i've had to note it all down on my mobile phone and blog it as and when i've had the chance... so here is part 1!
Day 1/7Wednesday we arrived in Hungary, and got a taxi to the hostel, no problems there then. But what has happened at the end of the first day?
Well, the hostel is very nice although there is no air conditioning so it is bloody hot! We've all got our beds sorted, with Howard and Greg sharing a bunk (Howard on top - this will become important later in the week) but come bed time, the first night, i already have so much to report.
A bus fine cost us 2000HUF (approx 6.50) when we tried to ride the bus for free! We didn't know how to get tickets so we thought we'd get on! But the way they got us was great, they have undercover bus conductors or as i've just decided to name them, 'the bus police' where they get on as passengers, whip out a red thing which is thier ID and then start asking to see tickets - It's trully a good thing to witness!
We missed a stop at the end of the night (waiting for the bus to spin round, but apparently it doesn't do that on the last trip!) and had to walk back from the outskirts of the city already all knackered having only had an hour or so sleep!
Did i mention it was hot here?
The girls here all have amazing bodies with amazing tans, they are increadibly beautiful and i seem to notice a lot of couples around - Is this me missing Sarah?
In bed, sharing a room, we notice the only English speaking channel is Eurosport where they play the most amazing ring tone advert which we've named the drunken moose! He's laying in a paddling pool singing and then just collapses. Don't get me wrong, i usually hate these adverts and despise the crazy frog but this was funny especially when you are that tired.
Gareth decided to eat his midnight snack (a pan o chocalate) which he then made me try as it was gross - It was, it was more like pan o caviar! It tasted as i'd imagine filth would tase but there was nothing i could do about it so that brings the story of the first day to an abrupt halt - i'll continue the run down soon.
For now, take care, see you soon.
